Apex Tactical Endurance Series
"Can you repeatedly produce power when your engine is already under pressure"
APEX TACTICAL ENDURANCE SERIES
Run. Earn. Reduce. Repeat.
A new kind of hybrid competition.
APEX combines running, functional strength and endurance machines into one simple test: how well can you perform when fatigue starts to build?
You run.
You hit the Power Station.
You earn distance credits.
Then you take on the erg.
Every rep matters. Every second matters. And the decisions you make along the way can change your entire race.
This isn't just about being fit. It's about racing smart.
THE RACE
Your reps have a value.
APEX is built around a simple idea.
The harder you work in the Power Station, the less distance you have to complete on the erg.
After your run, you have a two-minute Power Station to earn as many valid reps as you can.
Those reps aren't just there for a score.
They can take distance off your next erg.
So you have a decision to make.
Do you push hard in the Power Station and earn yourself a shorter erg?
Or do you save something in the tank and rely on your engine?
There isn't one perfect strategy.
There's only the strategy that works for you.
THREE MACHINES. ONE TEST.
Ski. Bike. Row.
APEX uses three of the toughest endurance machines around.
SkiErg
Upper body. Core. Legs. Breathing under pressure.
BikeErg
Pure output. Leg endurance. And nowhere to hide when the pace starts hurting.
RowErg
Full-body power and a serious test of your ability to keep producing when you're already tired.
Across the competition, you'll face different combinations of running, Power Stations and erg work.
The machines change.
The challenge doesn't.
THE POWER STATION
Two minutes. Make them count.
This is where the race gets tactical.
You have two minutes to accumulate valid reps at the Power Station.
Every rep has a purpose.
Get through them efficiently and you can earn valuable distance credits for the erg that follows.
But there's a catch.
You still have to run it.
And you still have to finish the erg.
So going all-out for extra credits isn't always the best decision.
APEX rewards athletes who know when to push — and when to hold back.
THE LEADERBOARD
Don't just finish. Race.
There will always be someone chasing you.
And someone you're chasing.
APEX isn't only about completing the workout. It's about where you finish compared with everyone else.
Your performance counts.
Your time counts.
Your Power Station reps count.
And every valid rep could make a difference to your final result.
The leaderboard tells the story.
Whether you're chasing the top spot, trying to beat your training partner or simply trying to improve your own position, there's always something to race for.
BUILT FOR HYBRID ATHLETES
Whatever your background, APEX gives you something to chase.
You don't need to be a specialist runner.
You don't need to be an elite lifter.
And you don't need to be the best on an erg.
APEX is for athletes who enjoy the challenge of putting everything together.
Running. Strength. Conditioning. Endurance.
Different athletes will have different strengths.
That's exactly the point.
The runner has an advantage somewhere.
The stronger athlete has an advantage somewhere else.
The erg specialist has their moment.
APEX is about finding out who can put it all together when it matters.
THERE'S NOWHERE TO HIDE
You can be strong.
You can be fast.
You can have a huge engine.
But eventually, you'll have to use all three.
APEX is designed to test what happens when those abilities are put together under fatigue.
The first kilometre might feel comfortable.
The next one might not.
The Power Station might look simple.
It won't feel simple when you're already working hard.
And the erg?
That's where you find out what you've really got left.
READY TO FIND OUT?
Your first APEX starts here.
Train for it.
Race it.
Learn your strategy.
Climb the leaderboard.
Then come back and try to beat your own time.

The Stages of Competition
A.P.E.X. is built as a progression.
You don't simply arrive at the Arena Final. You earn your way there.
Each stage increases the pressure, the competition, and the physical demand. What begins as a test against the clock becomes a battle against the field — and ultimately, a test of who can perform when everything is on the line.
Every stage demands a different combination of endurance, strength, movement efficiency, pacing, and decision-making under fatigue.
Stage 1 — The Online Qualifiers
Location: Your Home Facility or Affiliate Gym
Format: Remote Work-Capacity Testing
The first test.
The Online Qualifiers are where every A.P.E.X. journey begins.
Across a designated testing window, athletes complete three structured work-capacity tests, submitting validated scores against the official A.P.E.X. standards.
This stage is designed to expose your baseline. How strong is your engine? How well can you produce power under fatigue? And can you control your pace when the clock starts to hurt?
Your results establish your position on the national leaderboard — and determine who moves forward.
Primary Objective: Build your engine. Execute the standards. Earn your place.
Stage 2 — The Live Semifinals
Location: Regional Event Arenas — Worldwide
Format: Head-to-Head Multi-Round Competition
Global Start: All Semifinal events begin simultaneously worldwide
Now the test gets real.
The qualifiers prove you have the capacity. The Semifinals prove you can use it under pressure.
Qualified athletes step onto the competition floor at venues around the world, with every Semifinal beginning at the same global start time. From one side of the world to the other, athletes are taking on the same test, under the same rules, against the same standard.
But there's a twist.
The A.P.E.X. Global Clock
Every year, the official worldwide start time moves three hours.
This means the event never settles into a predictable schedule. Athletes, affiliates, and spectators have to adapt as A.P.E.X. moves through different time zones and regions each year.
The Semifinals become more than a regional competition.
Everyone starts together. Everyone races the same test. Everyone is chasing the same leaderboard.
Once the clock starts, athletes go head-to-head under official judging. Running, ergometers, functional strength stations, and high-output work combine into a multi-round test where every transition and every decision can change the result.
This is where the A.P.E.X. Time-Deduction Credit System becomes a weapon.
Push harder on designated high-yield stations. Earn time credits. Take the risk. Gain the advantage.
But every advantage has a price.
The athletes who progress won't simply be the ones who can work the hardest. They'll be the ones who know when to attack, when to control, and when to make the move that matters.
Primary Objective: Manage fatigue. Attack with purpose. Earn your place in the Arena Final.
One start time. One global test. One chance to advance.
Stage 3 — The Arena Final
Location: Main Event Stadium
Format: Championship-Level Multi-Stage Competition
This is where it all comes down to.
The best athletes from each division arrive at the Arena Final with nowhere left to qualify and nothing left to prove.
Under the lights, the competition reaches its highest level.
Expect heavier demands, greater intensity, technical endurance challenges, and head-to-head racing designed to push athletes beyond the point where fitness alone is enough.
At this level, mistakes compound. Poor pacing catches up with you. Missed opportunities become lost time.
There is no hiding behind potential.
You either execute, or you don't.
The title belongs to the athlete who can combine maximum output with intelligent pacing, movement efficiency, and composure under pressure.
Primary Objective: Perform when it matters most. Hold your standard. Finish on top.
THREE STAGES. ONE OBJECTIVE.
Qualify. Advance. Conquer.
The clock starts at Stage 1.
Your A.P.E.X. journey ends in the Arena.
Earn your place. Master the pace. Take the advantage.
Scoring System & Time Credits
A.P.E.X. doesn't reward athletes simply for surviving the workout.
It rewards those willing to create an advantage.
The A.P.E.X. scoring system is built around our signature Time-Deduction Credit System. At designated stations, athletes have the opportunity to earn time credits through high-output work.
Those credits can then be used to reduce the distance of a future endurance section, giving athletes a direct advantage on the clock.
The faster you work.
The more efficiently you execute.
The greater the potential reward.
But earning time comes with a cost. Pushing for credits increases fatigue — and every athlete must decide whether the time gained is worth the performance cost later in the race.
This creates a competition where strength, endurance and strategy are inseparable.
Don't just chase the fastest split.
Earn the advantage. Decide when to use it.
